You are to write down the details in a book because you would be needing them when you want to write down the works you cited. It is part of the end-text citation, under the works cited part. You cite the details of the work in the arrangement:

If it is more than a line, you indent the second line by 0.5-inch.

For the in-text, the name and year publication (in brackets) come first before “writes or states or posits,” then the quoted words, and finally the page where you copied from.
